7 Bizarre Examples of Mobile Gaming Merchandise | IamMItul

This Is A Guest Post By Danny Ashton  Running MoneySuperMarket

Since the smartphone exploded onto the scene, gamers have been spoilt for choice when it comes to flexing their fingers and raising a smile. Not content with inhabiting our phone screens, many of our favourite titles have made the leap into the 3D world with all sorts of weird, wonderful and occasionally worrying merchandise.
If your plants acquire faces, seek medical attention.
So, grab those blister plasters and get your credit card on stand-by because here come seven truly bizarre examples of mobile gaming merchandise…

7. The Angry Birds Board Game

The hours will just fly by… eventually.
Those of us who have grown tired of Angry Birds but still relish the challenge of smiting those pesky swines from the planet can pick up this – The Angry Birds Board Game (for ages 5+).
Imagine the hours of fun you and your loved ones could have gathered round the fire, flinging your favourite feathered friends to your heart’s content. Think how you would laugh!
The best part about The Angry Birds Board Game is not that it’s guaranteed to bring your entire family closer together, but that the battery won’t run out after you’ve played with it for fifteen minutes.
Perhaps Alfred Hitchcock was right…

6.The Doodle Jump Skateboard

The perfect accessory for any skater!
Skaters are generally a cool bunch; they snake and slither around the office blocks of society and traversing the cutting edge.
The Dalek struggled to find his motivation after his redesign.
How do these modern-day renaissance men go about their avant garde ways? On small planks of wood with wheels on the bottom of course, and some clever chap has been wise enough to put the little alien from Doodle Jump on one of them.
Take that, ‘The Man’!

5. The Plants vs. Zombies Slippers

Bbbrrraaaiiinnssss… hang on… ffffeeeeeeeeeeeeeeettttt…
There is no better way to express yourself than by purchasing a pair of slippers with an image of your favourite thing on it. If Plants vs. Zombies and toasty toes are your thing these slippers should be top of your ‘to buy’ list.
A steady diet of brains had done irrevocable damage to Mike’s teeth.
How zombies have changed over the years. Remember the time when they were a thing to be feared, a shambling symbol of creeping death and human decay? Modern day zombies can be stopped by plants.

4.Farmville Ice Cream

Just like a local farm shop ice cream… but mass produced… and based on a videogame.
This one seems to make sense. You can’t make ice cream without a farm being involved somewhere along the line.
Rabbits are an inefficient allocation of FarmVille resources.
Farmville ice cream came about as part of a promotion with the 7-11 convenience stores and was quite the prized object once obtained. Rarity aside, eating ice cream beats tending digital carrots and annoying your Facebook friends with constant updates about the progress of this year’s barley crop.

3.The Tetris Dress

Just think about the number of occasions this dress would be perfect for.
Impressing the opposite sex is not always easy, and impressing geek boys can be as complicated as learning C++. All your worries will vanish like a row of four, however, when you rock up for your date decked out in the Tetris dress.
So many formative years wasted on murky green blocks.

2.Angry Birds Bra

Infinitely more popular than the Peggle G-string.
The Angry Birds bra takes the term ‘wearing your heart on your sleeve’ to an entirely new level. Imagine uncovering this gem during a moment of intimacy with a lady friend; would you run? Would you laugh? Would you begin humming the theme tune? Whatever happens, chances are it will kill the mood somewhat.
Why does the white one always look like he’s chewing toffees?
The Angry Birds bra is obviously a specialist item, but in terms of gaming-themed undergarments, they must rate quite highly. A true gamer girl would couple this item with the Tetris Dress. Geek squared.

1. Cut the Rope Comic

That’s not the worst thing I’ve seen come in a box.
Comic books usually have intense themes which run parallel to the heroes’ strengths and moral values. Cut the Rope features a monster that eats candy tied up with string…
Kermit the Frog had an unhappy childhood prior to his dental work.
Trying to eke out what narrative direction you can from the world of Cut the Rope is certainly worthy of some recognition. It’s similar to the way we all appreciate that they managed to make a film about the board game Battleships, but then will all still roundly ignore it upon its theatrical release.
So there we have it; seven reasons to throw all your money at eBay in a haze of confused envy.

Go forth and consume, avid collectors, for if mobile gaming has taught us anything, it is that we can best express our love by buying a mountain of fragile plastic merchandise.
Oh, and that small blue birds will split into three when you touch them.

I hope You Enjoyed This Funny And Creative Post Of Danny :)
